Retreat Living RoomLooking at this modern-contemporary South American retreat sends me to an exotic place. The scale of it speaks volumes.
This design brings harmony to disparate elements - hard and soft. The oversized area rug mellows the hardwood floor. The large L-shaped comfy pillow-littered sofas wrap around the stone slab coffee table and metal floating fireplace. The cozy leather and steel side armless chair looks like you sink into it. And then there is that view balancing everything.
